Stitch Theatre began in 2015 as a collaboration between two core artists • Martyna Kozanecka and James Rowling • From our base in Leeds • uk • we create experimental theatre, live art and performance with a DIY aesthetic.

 

Our work playfully explores interests such as:
Heroes and other archetypes • mythology • story telling • shamanism • the relationship between body armor and human identity

 

We enjoy finding different ways to invite people into the work with us as enthusiastic 'YES' people who want to get involved and take part. These are our favourite kind of people. As well as being collaborators, we support each other in the development of our own ventures and we each fit into a growing family of artists and contributors.
